Day 9 - White Cliffs to our final camping spot

Big Driving Day..

Left White Cliffs, and headed to Wilcannia for a look around.  Its sad the state of this town.  Most buildings are boarded up, or closed.

Then we hit the Barrier Highway to Broken Hill, then on south towards Mildura.

Stopped to help a woman change a tyre on the most beaten up Caravan we saw all trip.  She had 4 kids and 2 dogs with her.  And a jack that wasn't high enough to get the wheel on. Lucky Chuck and Russell came to her rescue!

Stopped in off the main road just after Coombah, on Popiltah Lake.  It was the night that Russell and Princess Fiona had been waiting for.  Russell got to get the generator going and test it thoroughly, and the Princess got to use the Thermomix outside!!!  Whipped up some bread, a couple of dips in no time at all.  She was in her element!
