Easy Day.. just drove about 250kms from Broken Hill to Tibooburra.
Stopped in a Packsaddle, Bullea Lake, Milparinka (which 3 years ago had a pub, but not any more), and Tibooburra Caravan Park.
In Milparinka we chatted to a Dutch couple from Sydney who are volunteering there for 2 weeks (and bumps the population up by almost double), and they applied 3 years ago to do this! The volunteering places are booked out for years. They also said that the night before some people arrived in a plane and landed in the main street. This is Burke and Wills, and Sturt territory here. We were going to stop and have a cold drink at the Albert Hotel, but it sadly closed 3 years ago.
Set up the Camper trailer. THEN realised that there was a tree in the way. Undid everything we had set up, moved the trailer, then the wheel lock collapsed. Lucky Chuck's foot was just out of the way.. All ok.
Dinner - Pork chops and steamed veges!! Then a few songs by the campfire.
