Rest Day.. we were all a bit tired after yesterday..
We took it pretty easy today.
Flora and Bloom headed to the Tibooburra Outback School of the Air for a look around. It is the most geographically isolated school in NSW and the only dual mode school in Australia. There were 8 students, and 2 who attend remotely by the school of the air.
The Gorge was not so gorgeous, although we did spot 4 emus in the distance below. We were more happy in the familiar surrounds of Mt Woods Shearing Shed. We crossed over a wobbly suspension bridge and had a look at the shearers quarters.
After that, we headed back for lunch and a quiet afternoon. Chuck and Russell went prospecting, Princesss Fiona went to the post office and tried to let people know about the Thermomix, and Merry went off to do some work and for a nap.. Camping is tiring work!
Dinner
Apricot and Beef Stew, Banana Custard for dessert.
No wombats?
