Today is our last day with the Hardacre's.
We left Burra very early because we have 9 hours in the car and they have 11 hours.
We drove together until Mildura.
At Mildura we had lunch and then we spilt, to go home.
It was very sad to say goodbye to these lovely people, but we were also glad just to get home.
We have had a wonderful trip and it is definitely one to remember.

We left William Creek and drove through Peterborough, Marie and then we stopped at Farina fore lunch.
Farina is all ruins and they restored the underground bakery and now they have volunteers to sell meat pies, pasties, treat and loaves of bread to people. They have professional bakers (they are some of the best bakers in Australia) to bake everything and everything is delicious.
After lunch we drove through Lyndhurst, Copley, Leigh Creek and arrived in Burra.
For tea we had savoury mince.

Day 16 - Purni Bore to Dalhousie Spings
Today we only had to drive 70km which didn't take long because we had a smooth track.
We arrived at Dalhousie Springs at about lunch time and later that day we had a swim in the hot spring. When I say hot I mean hot. In the middle it would probably we 38 degrees and at one end it was about 43 degrees but at the other end it was probably 30-34 degrees.
We had a great time in the spring and there are little fish almost tadpoles that come and nibble all of your dead skin off. You might think it's weird and yucky but it's actually really relaxing.
For tea we had curried sausages.

Day 15 - Simpson Desert to Purni Bore
Today we drove and drove and drove. It was nothing exciting apart from when we got stuck on a HUGE hill and Mrs. Reda drove up it.
The track got smoother and then it hit a rough bit and then it went smooth so it was a great day.
We drove until we reached Purni Bore, which had hot shower! We were all longing for a shower and in the middle of nowhere we got a hot shower.
For dinner we had mustard chicken casserole.

Day 14 - The Simpsom Desert
Today we left at 7:30am hoping that we could put on more kilometres then yesterday.
Mr. Reda and Russell are our main drivers, but today Mrs. Reda and Princess Fiona had a go. Mrs.Reda LOVED IT. Princess Fiona liked it but she was happy for Russell to keep driving.
We also met a group of people who are the best people in the world. There names were Fluffy Bunny, Bald Eagle and Rubber Chicken. These were their nickname and we were wondering why they were using nicknames but they said that when you pass someone you mightn't know if that's the person you were talking to so they used nicknames so you would know that you have passed them.
For tea we had roast lamb and veggies.

Day 13 - Birdsville into the Simpson Desert
We left Birdsville and headed onto the Simpson Desert.
Today was the hardest day because it had the steepest sand june's. It was very bumpy and sandy.
For tea we had spaghetti bowl. We didn't make to much of it this time so it tasted really good.
